How it works

I design and build websites from scratch for local businesses. Not from templates - properly, one at a time.

  1. Fixed quote in writing

    You tell me what your business does and what you need. I send you a fixed price in writing, usually within a day. No back-and-forth, no "it depends", no hourly billing.

  2. Content in, build starts

    Once you're happy with the quote and you've sent over your content - your words, your photos, your logo - I get to work. Most sites are done within a week or two.

  3. You own everything

    When it's finished, I set you up with your own hosting account. You own the site. There's no lock-in, no retainer, no monthly management fee.

Not "fast for a small business site" - genuinely fast. Tested against the same performance standards used by Google to rank search results.

More than half your visitors will be on their phone. Your site will work beautifully on every screen size, not just look passable.
Accessible.
Built so that everyone can use it, including people using screen readers or navigating by keyboard. It's the right thing to do - and it's good for search rankings.

What it costs

There's no fixed package here - every site is different, so every quote is too.

Tell me what your business needs and I'll send back a fixed price in writing, usually within a day. No hourly billing, no packages that half-fit, no surprises on the invoice.

Most sites I build land between £500 and £1,000+, depending on scope. If you want the detail, I've written up where the money in a website quote goes.

Pages & structure

More pages, custom layouts, and one-off sections all take longer to design and build than a simple five-page brochure site.

Features & integrations

Booking systems, galleries, or third-party tools like Calendly and Google Maps all add scope - and time.

Content & copy

Supplying your own words and photos keeps the price down. Need help writing or sourcing them? That gets scoped in too.

I've been building websites for about fifteen years. Most of that time I've worked for agencies, building sites for other people's clients. I know what good looks like, and I know what cuts corners look like too.

I live in Oswestry, and I work with businesses either side of the Welsh border - Shrewsbury, Telford, Wrexham, and out into Powys. I like building things properly - sites that are fast, accessible, and built to last rather than built to impress other developers. I care quite a lot about the details that most people never notice but everyone benefits from.

When you work with me, you're working with me. One person, one conversation, no account managers or project coordinators in between.
